Back in Winners Circle Els Moves Up to 5th in Rankings

Ernie Els won the South African Airways Open on Sunday and climbed to No. 5 in the latest Official World Golf Ranking.
Els claimed his fourth South African Airways Open title and first win since last December's dunhill championship. Because this is the final world ranking of 2006, Els will end the year in the same position he began it -- fifth.
Tiger Woods, of course, held on to his No. 1 ranking after winning his third Target World Challenge. He was again followed by Jim Furyk, Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott.
Els' ascent knocked Retief Goosen, Vijay Singh and Padraig Harrington down one spot apiece to positions 6-8. Luke Donald remained ninth, while Geoff Ogilvy climbed into the top 10.
Ogilvy bumped Sergio Garcia to 11th, where he was followed by Henrik Stenson, Trevor Immelman, David Howell, Paul Casey, Davis Love III, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, David Toms and Chris DiMarco to round out the top 20.
