RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. -- The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic announced on Saturday that Indian Wells Country Club will no longer be a course in the tournament's rotation, effective next year.

'We have always had incredible support from the Indian Wells membership, both as contestants and volunteers,' said 2005 President and Tournament Chairman John Evenson. 'The Classic Board has long recognized and long appreciated the efforts of the Indian Wells staff. We look forward to these relationships continuing in the future as we work to enhance our record of charitable achievement.'

The courses for the 2005 event, one of two 90-hole events annually on the PGA Tour schedule, are Bermuda Dunes Country Club, La Quinta Country Club, Tamarisk Country Club and the Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA West. PGA West will be the host site for the final round.

Tamarisk was not part of the 2004 tournament, which was won by eventual Masters champion Phil Mickelson.
