Despite Win Ochoa Remains Fifth in Rankings - COPIED


Even with her win Saturday at the LPGA Takefuji Classic, Lorena Ochoa remained No. 5 this week in the latest Rolex World Rankings.
Including Ochoa, the top six were unchanged. Annika Sorenstam was followed by Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Yuri Fudoh, Ochoa and Cristie Kerr.
American Solheim Cupper Juli Inkster moved up one to No. 7 this week, while Japan's Ai Miyazato dipped one to eighth.
The next five remained the same with Karrie Webb staying at No. 9. She was followed by Jeong Jang, Hee-Won Han, Natalie Gulbis and Jee Young Lee.
A pair of Japanese players exchanged positions with Shiho Ohyama up one to 14 and Sakura Yokomine down one to 15. Countrywoman Kasumi Fujii held steady in the 16th slot.
Catriona Matthew climbed one to 17, while Meena Lee fell a spot to 18th this week. Pat Hurst remained at 19 and Akiko Fukushima jumped five places to round out the top 20. Joo Mi Kim fell out of the top 20 as she tumbled three spots from last week to 23rd.
