Funk will be joined in the field by 2006 Players Championship winner Stephen Ames, as well as crowd favorites John Daly and Fred Couples.
Last year, Funk collected 15 Skins and $925,000 as he knocked off the top- ranked player in both the men's (Tiger Woods) and women's (Annika Sorenstam) game. Couples and Sorenstam were shutout last year, as Woods won the only other three Skins available.
Funk became the oldest winner of this event last year. His win at the '05 Players Championship also made him the oldest winner there. The $225,000 he won in Saturday's opening nine holes last year set a new event record.
Couples will compete for the 13th time at this event, which will be played for the 24th time overall in November. The 46-year-old has won this crown five times, owns the records for most career Skins (77), most career money earned ($3,515,000) and most birdies in one year (nine in '99).
Daly will be making his third appearance at the Skins game. He won seven Skins in his debut in 1991, but was shutout in '96. The two-time major winner has not won on the PGA Tour since the 2004 Buick Invitational.
Ames will make his debut in this event. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, Ames now lives in Canada and won the Canadian Skins game in 2005. He currently ranks 14th on the PGA Tour money list having earned $2,395,155 this year.
The event will have nine holes televised on both November 25th and 26th. LG Electronics signed a three-year agreement to become the title sponsor.
