Funk into Top-25 in World Rankings

Fred Funk's win at the Players Championship vaulted him up 37 places in this week's Official World Golf Rankings.
Funk is 22nd in the world following his one-shot victory at the TPC at Sawgrass.
The top-10 remained the same from last week. Vijay Singh is back in first, followed by Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington, Sergio Garcia, David Toms, Adam Scott and Stewart Cink.
Mike Weir jumped up three spots to 11th, while Davis Love III climbed one to No. 12. Stuart Appleby dropped one to 13th and Kenny Perry, the winner at Bay Hill, fell three to 14th. Chris DiMarco rounded out the top-15.
Luke Donald, who tied for second place behind Funk, leaped three spots to 16th. Darren Clarke, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Chad Campbell all dropped one to accommodate the move up by Donald.
Scott Verplank, who also tied for second behind Funk, rose 12 places to No. 20.
Any player in the top-50 after this week, who was not already qualified, received an invitation to the Masters. Tom Lehman (21), Tim Clark (28), Craig Parry (35) and Graeme McDowell (39) all made the field at Augusta National in two weeks.
