Futures Tour Event Ends in a Playoff


Duramed Futures TourSAINT ANNE, Ill. -- Like the LPGA Championship on Sunday, the women's Duramed Futures Tour went to a playoff at the $70,000 WLF.org Golf Classic.
Mollie Fankhauser defeated Stephanie George and Brandi Jackson in a two-hole playoff at the $70,000 event -- claiming a $9,800 check for her first professional win.
The trio finished 54 holes at 4-under-par 212. Fankhauser and Jackson shot matching 2-under 70s in their final round, while George stumbled to a 1-over 73.
Song-Hee Kim finished alone in fourth place at 3-under-par 213 after a final-round, one-under 71. Kellee Booth ended fifth at minus-2 following a 74, and Allison Fouch was one stroke further back in sixth after a 73.
