Futures Tour Title Goes To Lee

Futures TourALBANY, N.Y. -- Seon-Hwa Lee fired her second straight 5-under 66 on Sunday to cruise to her first Futures win at the Albany Futures Pro Golf Classic. Lee completed the 54-hole event at 14-under-par 199 to win by seven strokes.
Lee's total of 199 ties the lowest winning score in tour history. Christina Kim and Lorena Ochoa tied at 199 at the 2002 Hewlett Packard Garden State Futures Summer Classic, which Kim won in a playoff.
Charlotte Mayorkas posted a 7-under 64 in the final round to share second place at 7-under-par 206 with Natalie Wong. Courtney Wood finished one stroke further back at minus-6 after a final-round 66.
Lee was on fire on the front nine, running off six straight birdies to make the turn at 15 under. She dropped a shot at the 11th on the way in, but had enough of a cushion that it didn't matter.
'This means a lot to me because this is my first trophy in the United States,' said Lee. 'Today, I didn't worry about my score. I just tried to concentrate.'
Kyeong Bae, who won the ISO Futures Golf Classic earlier this year, ended at 5-under-par 208. She was joined there by Jeanne-Marie Busuttil and Sun Young Yoo.
Sarah-Jane Kenyon, who won in Tampa Bay earlier this season, was joined by Meredith Ward in eighth place at minus-4.
