Nicole Castrale, a two-time winner this season, closed with a 3-under 69 to take second place at 9-under-par 207 at Hunters Oak Golf Club.
Virada Nirapathpongporn, a two-time winner and two-time runner-up this year, carded a 1-under 71 to grab third place at minus-7. Kyeong Bae, who is also a two-time winner this year, was one stroke further back at 6-under-par 210 after a 5-under 67.
The 26-year-old George claimed her first win since the 2003 Michelob Light Futures Charity Golf Classic.
'The last time I shot a 65 was in York, Pa., last year and the next day, I bombed out,' said George of her performance at the 2004 York Newspaper Company Futures Classic. 'I didn't want to do that again. This shows me that I can handle pressure better. A couple of years ago, I probably would have folded.'
Seon-Hwa Lee closed with back-to-back 71's to end alone in fifth place at 5- under-par 211. Charlotte Mayorkas shot a 4-under 68 Sunday to share sixth place with Brittany Lang at minus-4. Meredith Ward and Cristina Baena were one stroke further back at 3-under-par 213.
