Harrington Choi Teeing It Up in S Korea

European TourJEJU ISLAND, South Korea -- The European Tour ends its early-season run in Asia this week with the inaugural Ballantines Championship.
Two of the top players in the world that are skipping the PGA event will be in Korea. Local favorite and world No. 5 K.J. Choi, as well as world No. 10 and reigning British Open champ Padraig Harrington are playing at Pinx Golf Club this week.
Choi picked up his seventh PGA TOUR win earlier this year at the Sony Open, and has finished inside the top 10 in his last two starts.
Joining those two in the field this week is American Chris DiMarco. He will be playing on the European Tour for the fifth time, excluding majors and WGC events.
Anthony Kim, whose parents are native Koreans, will also be in the field. Kim has had a slow start in 2008 with one top five in five starts. In his other four starts, his best finish was a share of 30th at the FBR Open.
Starting at 9:30 a.m. (ET) each day, the GOLF CHANNEL will have tape-delayed coverage of all four rounds.
Next week, the best of the best will be in the United States for the WGC - CA Championship. The following week, the European Tour returns to Spain for the Madeira Island Open, where Daniel Vancsik won last year.
