FARMINGTON, Pa. -- The second round of the 84 Lumber Classic of Pennsylvania was postponed Friday due to the heavy rainfall Hurricane Isabel left on Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

'We're just letting the golf course drain,' said golf course superintendent Brian Anderson. 'Let Mother Nature take her course.'

Three inches of rain hit the course overnight, rendering it unplayable on Friday. The second round is scheduled to start at 7:15 AM ET Saturday morning and only 18 holes will be contested. Officials are going to decide Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning whether to play 36 holes on Sunday, 18 on Sunday and 18 on Monday or to cut the event to 54 holes.

Donnie Hammond and Gavin Coles share the lead after Thursday's opening round. They posted matching rounds of 7-under-par 65 and own a one-shot lead over Grant Waite, Brent Schwarzrock and Michael Clark II.

Two-time U.S. Open winner Lee Janzen and U.S. Presidents Cup player Jerry Kelly are part of a huge group tied for sixth place at 5-under-par 67.

British Open champion Ben Curtis and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Hal Sutton are in the group tied at minus-3.
