Kaye Cracks Top-15 in World Golf Rankings

Jonathan Kaye's second win on the PGA Tour Sunday at the FBR Open moved him up 10 spots in this week's World Golf Rankings. He is currently 14th after outlasting Chris DiMarco at the TPC of Scottsdale.
 
Tiger Woods marked the 234th consecutive week atop the rankings. He has been at the top for 305 weeks total and is 26 weeks shy of Greg Norman's all-time record.
 
Vijay Singh earned his 11th consecutive top-10 in Phoenix and maintained the second spot. Ernie Els took third, followed by Davis Love III, who will defend his title this week at Pebble Beach, and reigning U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk.
 
Masters winner Mike Weir stayed in sixth while Retief Goosen held on to seventh. David Toms and Kenny Perry switched places from last week with Toms taking eighth and Perry coming in ninth. Ireland's Padraig Harrington rounded out the top-10.
 
Phil Mickelson tallied another top-10 at the FBR Open and climbed one spot to No. 11. Darren Clarke also moved up one rung to 12th as Stuart Appleby fell two to 13th.
 
Kaye took 14th and Nick Price dipped one to 15th. Chad Campbell, Robert Allenby and Fredrik Jacobson all fell one but Thomas Bjorn rose seven places to No. 19.
 
Justin Leonard dropped one spot to 20th. Jay Haas and Charles Howell III both left the top-20.
 
Miguel Angel Jimenez won the Johnnie Walker Classic over the weekend and rocketed up 44 notches to No. 56.
