Kerr Remains Fourth in Womens Rankings


A week after losing by two to Annika Sorenstam, Cristie Kerr got her revenge by beating the women's world No. 1 by two strokes in Oklahoma. With the win, Kerr remained fourth in the latest Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings
Sorenstam was again followed by Lorena Ochoa and Karrie Webb. Kerr was trailed again by fellow Americans Juli Inkster, Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie.
Jeong Jang held steady at No. 8, while Ai Miyazato climbed three places to ninth. That move bumped Pat Hurst down to 10th. Shiho Ohyama also moved up three to 11th.
Yuri Fudoh and Mi Hyun Kim both dropped two spots to 12th and 13th respectively. Hee-Won Han climbed one space to 14, while Se Ri Pak was down a pair of positions to 15.
Seon-Hwa Lee, Natalie Gulbis, Jee Young Lee and Sakura Yokomine all held steady from last week. Sophie Gustafson and Sherri Steinhauer exchanged places with the Swede rounding out the top-20 and the American slipping to 21st.
