Major Moves in World Rankings


World RankingsScott Drummond captured the Volvo PGA Championship on Sunday and in the process made a huge leap to 95th in this week's Official World Golf Rankings.
Drummond, who won by two over Angel Cabrera and three over Joakim Haeggman, leapt up 340 places from 435th last week.
Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, Davis Love III and reigning Masters champion Phil Mickelson once again completed the top five.
Mike Weir, Jim Furyk, Padraig Harrington, Chad Campbell and Retief Goosen held on to their places from last week.
Stuart Appleby and Kenny Perry switched places from a week ago with the Australian moving to 11th and the American falling to No. 12. Darren Clarke jumped up one to 13th and Adam Scott dipped one to 14.
David Toms, who successfully defended his title last week at the St. Jude Classic, only moved up one rung to 15th. Scott Verplank dropped to No. 16 while Sergio Garcia held on to 17th.
Jonathan Kaye and Nick Price traded spots. Kaye climbed to 18th while the three-time major winner went to 19th. K.J. Choi once again rounded out the top 20.
Cabrera and Haeggman got more out their finishes this week. Both are now inside the top-50 in the World Rankings and are invited to the U.S. Open in three weeks at Shinnecock Hills.
