Nakajima Wins in Japan


Japanese TourTsuneyuki Nakajima held on to his third-round lead to claim the Mitsui Sumitomo Taieiyo Masters at the Gotemba Golf Club in Shizuoka, Japan.
Nakajima carded a final-round 70 for a 16-under-par 272, one shot better than fellow countryman Hidemichi Tanaka.
Australias Aaron Baddeley finished third and England's Justin Rose was in a tie for fourth with Shingo Katayama.
Rose, who fired a final-round 4-under 68, was looking to record his second win of 2002 on the Japan Golf Tour after he won the Crowns tournament back in May.
