Nationwide Tour Back in Action in La

Nationwide TourBROUSSARD, La. - Skip Kendall opened with three straight rounds of 66 last year, but still needed a playoff to claim the title.
Paul Claxton closed with rounds of 64-65 to force a playoff with Kendall. It took three extra holes for Kendall to earn his first tour title since winning twice in 1994.
That was just the second playoff in the event's 16-year history. Le Triomphe Country Club has hosted the event every year.
This is the first tour event since the Moonah Classic in late February.
Next week is the Livermore Valley Wine Country, where Omar Uresti won last year. There is no television coverage this week.
