Ochoa in the Spotlight in Native Mexico

LPGA Tour _newMEXICO CITY, Mexico -- After a one-week break, the LPGA Tour returns to action south of the border in Mexico.
Last year, Meaghan Francella needed four extra holes to defeat former women's world No. 1 Annika Sorenstam. Four weather delays over the first three days of the three-day event pushed this into a Monday finish.
The duo played the 18th four times before deciding a winner. They birdied the first time around, then parred it the second and third time.
On the fourth occasion, however, Francella birdied the 18th for the win. Sorenstam had won this title the first two times the event was played.
Local favorite and current women's world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa shared sixth place, five shots out of the playoff.
With Sorenstam taking the week off, Ochoa is the clear-cut favorite this week. She has won two straight starts, including an 11-shot rout at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore.
There is no television this week.
After another week off, the LPGA returns to action in Arizona for the Safeway International, where Ochoa won last year.
