Last year, Pak defeated Maria Hjorth by two shots, as she withstood a late rally by the Swede, who carded a Sunday 64. With the win, Pak became the first three-time winner of this tournament and has nearly earned $500,000 in her four trips to Toledo.
Six other past champions are also in the field as well as LPGA Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lopez, who continues her farewell tour. Though Lopez is a four-time runner-up at this tournament, don't look for her to contend. Laura Diaz,who tied for seventh last week after shooting 77 on Saturday, is also in the field along with Natalie Gulbis, the talented LPGA Tour rookie.
This is the 14th consecutive year that Highland Meadows is hosting the tournament. Prior to Highland Meadows, Glengarry Country Club hosted the event it's first four years.
Robbins and Penny Hammel are two-time winners of this event. There have been four playoffs in tournament history, including 2000 when Annika Sorenstam defeated Rachel Teske.
The LPGA Tour moves to Vienna, Ohio next week for the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic at Squaw Creek Country Club where Dorothy Delasin will defend her title.
