Pampling Jumps in Rankings Tiger Solid No 1

Rod Pampling's win Sunday at the Bay Hill Invitational helped him jump 23 spots to No. 29 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings.
Johan Edfors earned his first European Tour win Sunday at the TCL Classic and flew up 184 positions to No. 174 in the world.
Despite the strong field at the Bay Hill Invitational, there was no movement in the top 12 spots in the rankings. Tiger Woods maintained his stranglehold on the top spot.
Vijay Singh was next at No. 2 with Retief Goosen, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, David Toms, Jim Furyk, Adam Scott, Luke Donald, Chris DiMarco and Colin Montgomerie following him.
David Howell and reigning U.S. Open champion Michael Campbell exchanged spots from last week with Howell up to 13. Kenny Perry, despite missing Bay Hill due to knee surgery, was up one to 15.
Henrik Stenson was also up one space to the 16th position. Darren Clarke, who finished third behind Pampling, moved up eight slots to No. 17 this week.
Davis Love III, the 2003 Players Championship winner, slipped three notches to 18th, while Chad Campbell held steady at 19. Rory Sabbatini rounded out the top 20 despite falling two spots from last week.
