Perry reaches No 11 in World Golf Rankings

Kenny Perry put together another brilliant performance en route to a victory at The Memorial Tournament on Sunday. The win, his second straight on the PGA Tour, propelled him to No. 11 in the latest World Golf Rankings.
 
Tiger Woods struggled with a third-round 76 at Muirfield Village but crafted a seven-under 65 on Sunday to finish in a tie for fourth at The Memorial. He remained firmly entrenched atop the rankings at No. 1.
 
Ernie Els stayed put at No. 2 followed by Davis Love III. Vijay Singh, who finished alongside Woods at The Memorial, held his fourth-place ranking from last week while Mike Weir moved up one position to No. 5.
 
Phil Mickelson dropped a spot to come in at No. 6 this week. Padraig Harrington stayed put in seventh place followed by David Toms, Retief Goosen and Jim Furyk, each of whom held their rankings from last week.
 
Perry came in at No. 11 while Nick Price fell one space to No. 12. Justin Leonard also dropped one to No. 13 as did Sergio Garcia, who came in at No. 14 this week.
 
Chris DiMarco plunged to No. 15 followed by Robert Allenby, who stayed put at No. 16. Scott Hoch climbed one spot to No. 17 while Bob Estes, who will defend his Capital Open title this week, dropped one to No. 18.
 
Jerry Kelly remained at No. 19 with Rocco Mediate rounding out the top-20.
 
Ian Poulter captured The Celtic Manor Resort Wales Open on Sunday for his fourth career victory on the European Tour. The Englishman moved up 30 spots to crack the top-100 at No. 90.
