PGA of America Elects New Board Members

PGA of AmericaSAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Delegates have selected six new serving members for the national PGA Board of Directors. The six new board members were sworn in on Friday at the during ceremonies at The PGA of America's 87th Annual Meeting.
 
The PGA of America's Board of Directors is made up of the Association's president, vice president, secretary, honorary president and 17 directors. The directors each serve three-year terms and represent the PGA's 14 districts, two independent directors and a member of the PGA Tour.
 
The six new members are: Brent Krause, a PGA Master Professional as well as general manager and director of golf at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club in Montgomery Alabama; Tim Marks, head professional at Bull's Eye Country Club in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Jeff Hamm, co-owner and head professional of Longhills Golf Club in Benton, Arkansas; Tom Sargent, a certified rules official for both the PGA and USGA as well as head professional at Mesa Verde Country Club in Costa Mesa, California; Grant Dalpes, head professional and general manager of Desert Lakes Municipal Golf Course in Alamogordo, New Mexico; Leslie E. Greis, the first woman to play on the men's golf team at Harvard and the PGA of America's first Endowment Fund consultant.
 
The PGA of America, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1916, is dedicated to promoting the game of golf while continuing to enhance the standards of the profession.
