MOOSIC, Pa. -- Omar Uresti was 2-under through seven holes Saturday before play was suspended for the day at the NE Pennsylvania Classic due to heavy rain. Uresti currently stands at 14-under-par, one shot ahead of Blaine McCallister, one of his playing partners.

Play was briefly halted at 12:33 PM (ET). The players returned to the course at 12:56 PM before action was stopped again at 2:15 PM. After nearly an hour delay, play was called for the day. Players will return to their positions at 8:30 AM Sunday for completion of the third round. The final round will commence shortly after the third round is completed.

'After so much rain this spring the golf course just won't take anymore water,' said Jim Duncan, Nationwide Tour Tournament Director. 'Unfortunately, there isn't a lot we can do about the rain and the weather. We just didn't see any way we could get back out there today.'

Kenichi Kuboya is at 11-under-par through nine holes at Glenmaura National Golf Club and shares third place with Bill Glasson, who has played eight holes.

Paul Gow, who was making a phenomenal move Saturday, stands at 10-under-par and shares fifth place with Jason Dufner. Gow was 8-under through 11 holes and had climbed from a tie for 56th into a share of fifth.

Uresti began his day two strokes ahead of McCallister. He stretched that lead to three with a birdie at the first. However, momentum swung quickly in McCallister's favor. Uresti bogeyed the second and McCallister birdied the same hole to get within one shot of the lead.

McCallister birdied the third to forge a tie at minus-12. After pars at four and five by both players, Uresti reclaimed the lead with back-to-back birdies from the sixth. McCallister stayed within one stroke of the lead with a birdie of his own at the seventh.

Gary Hallberg, the 2002 champion here, is 3-under through 15 holes to get to 7-under-par. He shares 18th place with seven other players.
