Champions TourSPRING, Texas -- Coming off theie final major of the year, the Champions Tour rolls into Texas for the Administaff Small Business Classic.
 
Jay Haas walked away with this title last year after the final round was washed out by rain.
 
Haas held a comfortable five-stroke lead after two rounds and was declared the winner. He shared the first-round lead with Dick Mast and Tom Purtzer, but fired a 63 in round two to pull away.
 
Players are jockeying for position on the money list as the top 30 after next week's event will gain entry into the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
 
Along with those trying to get into the top 30, 35 of the top 40 players on the money list are slated to be on hand at Augusta Pines this week.
 
The GOLF CHANNEL will have live coverage Friday afternoon, then tape-delayed action the final two days.
 
The Champions Tour completes its two-week Texas swing next week with the AT&T Championship, where Fred Funk won last year.
