Singh Leads Canadian Skins


Huntsville, Ontario - Defending champion Vijay Singh took the lead after the first day of the Canadian Skins Game.
Singh won five skins worth $90,000, sealing the day with a par on the ninth hole worth $60,000. He had six birdies on the day.
The final nine holes will be played Tuesday at the Grandview Golf Club.
John Daly won $60,000 on Monday, while Sergio Garcia and Canadian native Mike Weir were shut out.
Daly won the first four skins of the day with an eagle on the par-four fourth hole. After the first three holes were halved, Daly nearly drove the green on the 347-yard fourth and made the putt from the fringe.
