Last year, Woods was a gracious host as he finished next-to-last. Luke Donald closed with a 64 to roar from behind and win by two over Darren Clarke, who shot just even-par 72 in the final round.
Woods and Davis Love III are both in the field this week and are the only two players who have won this event twice in its first seven years. Including this week, they are the only two who have played in all eight Target World Challenges.
In the field this week are 13 of the top 20 players in the world. The three players not in the top 20 are all fan favorites -- world No. 34 Darren Clarke, No. 63 Fred Couples and No. 147 John Daly.
Sherwood Country Club is hosting the Target World Challenge for the seventh straight year.
