Tiger Chasing DiMarco at the Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Chris DiMarco continued his solid play on Saturday with three birdies to remain in the lead at 13 under par halfway through the suspended third round of the 69th Masters Tournament.
Three-time Masters champion Tiger Woods is lurking, however, and used five birdies on the front nine to reach 9 under before play was called for the day. Thomas Bjorn, who is playing in the final group alongside DiMarco, stands at 8 under through nine holes.
Weather delays on Thursday and Friday have backed up play but the conditions were optimal on Saturday. The third round will resume Sunday.
Rod Pampling played 12 holes on Saturday and is at minus-4 along with Vijay Singh, who is through 10. Mark Hensby is 4 under and was playing the 10th when play was called.
Defending champion Phil Mickelson tallied three birdies and a bogey over his first nine holes but a bogey at the par-4 10th dropped him back to 3 under par for the tournament. Mickelson then parred the 11th and will resume play on the 12th on Sunday.
Trevor Immelman birdied four in a row from the 15th and stands at 3 under par through 15 holes. Luke Donald and 2003 Masters winner Mike Weir are also at minus-3 through 15 while Tim Herron stands at 3 under through 13 holes. Kirk Triplett has played 10 holes in his third round and is minus-3 for the tournament.
Chad Campbell is in the clubhouse at 2-under-par 214 after a round of 68. Retief Goosen, Justin Leonard and Steve Flesch all posted rounds of 70 to finish at even-par 216.
