Tiger Extends Lead in Rankings


Tiger Woods won his fifth straight PGA TOUR start on Sunday and again extended his large lead in this week's world rankings.
Woods now leads world No. 2 Phil Mickelson by 12.05 average points. Mickelson only has 9.70 average points compared to Woods' 21.75.
Ernie Els and Steve Stricker again follow Mickelson. Adam Scott moved up one and bumped K.J. Choi down to sixth, where he was followed by Justin Rose.
Rory Sabbatini and Jim Furyk exchanged places with Sabbatini moving up to eighth. Vijay Singh was up one to 10th, bumping Padraig Harrington to No. 11. Henrik Stenson held steady in the 12th position this week.
Sergio Garcia and Stewart Cink each moved up one place, while Luke Donald fell two spots to 15th. Angel Cabrera, Geoff Ogilvy and Aaron Baddeley stayed put in the 16th to 18th positions.
Lee Westwood inched up to 19th, knocking Zach Johnson down to 20th.
