Walton Moves Five Clear in Mexico


Canadian Tour-LargeMORELIA, Mexico -- Michael Walton posted a 4-under 68 on Friday to cruise into the lead after three rounds of the Michelin Morelia Classic. He stands at 16-under-par 200 and is five clear at Tres Marias Residential Golf Club.
Ryan Miller carded a 5-under 67 and is tied for second place with Chris Baryla, who shot a 2-under 70 on Friday. The duo is knotted at 11-under-par 205.
Brad Fritsch (66), Robert Hamilton (71), Rob McMillan (67) and Russell Surber (68) are tied for fourth place at minus-10.
Stuart Anderson (71) and David Mathis (69) are tied for eighth place at 9-under-par 207. Clint Jensen fired the lowest round of the day on Friday with an 8-under 64. He shares 10th place with Stephen Gangluff, who shot a 67 in round three, at 8-under-par 208.
