Weather Halts Play in Russia

European TourMOSCOW, Russia -- Leaders Kariem Baraka and Henrik Nystrom completed one hole on Saturday before heavy rains left Le Meridien Moscow Country Club under water, forcing the suspension of the third round of the Russian Open.
Rain throughout the morning soaked the course and conditions did not improve in the afternoon. Play was halted at 5:20 a.m. (ET), before ultimately being called for the day.
Baraka, the nephew of European Ryder Cup captain Bernhard Langer, and Nystrom remain knotted at 10 under par. Gary Emerson, Markus Brier and Euan Little are following closely at minus-nine.
Play will resume Sunday morning.
