Weather Halts Southern Open

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Continuous thunderstorms forced tournament officials to postpone Saturday's third round of the Buy.Com Tour's Southern Open. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes.
Players who were able to complete one hole Saturday will return to their position on the course Sunday at 10:00 A.M. (ET). Tee times were adjusted for the remaining players.
David Morland IV fired a 7-under-par 65 Friday to take a commanding lead with one round to play. He established a new 36-hole record for the tournament at 15-under-par 129 and owns a four-shot lead over John Morse and Rob Bradley.
