Westwood Back to Defend in Spain

European TourANDALUCIA, Spain - Another tournament with a big move up the schedule is this week's Open de Andalucia.
Held last year in the second week of May, the Open de Andalucia saw a shootout win for an Englishman in '07.
Lee Westwood opened with an even-par 72, but went 20-under over the next three rounds to win by two over Fredrik Andersson Hed, who was searching for his first tour title. Westwood's total was helped by a course-record 64 in the second round.
The win was Westwood's 17th on the European Tour, but snapped a four-year winless drought.
Last year was the first year of this event and it was one of five in Spain.
GOLF CHANNEL will have extensive coverage of all four rounds. Next up is the Open de Portugal, where last year Pablo Martin became the first amateur to win on the European Tour.
