Wie Drops to Ninth in Womens World Rankings

Although the LPGA Tour had an off week, there were a couple of changes near the top of the Rolex Women's World Rankings.
Michelle Wie, once the No. 2 player before the rankings underwent a format change earlier this year, fell one spot from eighth to ninth this week. She was bumped by Jeong Jang.
Pat Hurst, the Safeway Classic champion, also dipped one place to 11th as Shiho Ohyama moved into the top 10.
Other than those two small changes, the top 20 remained the same as last week.
Annika Sorenstam, of course, held onto the No. 1 ranking and was followed by Lorena Ochoa, Karrie Webb, Cristie Kerr, Juli Inkster, Paula Creamer, Ai Miyazato, Jang, Wie and Ohyama.
Hurst was trailed by Yuri Fudoh, Mi Hyun Kim, Hee-Won Han, Se-Ri Pak, Seon-Hwa Lee, Natalie Gulbis, Jee Young Lee, Sophie Gustafson and Ji-Hee Lee to finish the top 20.
