Wie was ineligible for this week's rankings because she is one event short of the 15 required, by the current points earning cycle, to be included.
The LPGA expects the 16 year old will likely be back in the rankings next week following the year's first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship. The women were off last week.
Twelve players moved up one spot apiece in Wie's absence. Annika Sorenstam remained first, followed by last week's No. 3, Paula Creamer, and then Yuri Fudoh, Cristie Kerr, Ai Miyazato, Lorena Ochoa, Juli Inkster, Jeong Jang, Hee- Won Han, Jee Young Lee, Sakura Yokomine, Natalie Gulbis and Catriona Matthew.
Meena Lee made the biggest jump among the top 20, climbing five places to No. 14, where she was followed by Shiho Ohyama, Kasumi Fujii, Karrie Webb, Joo Mi Kim, Soo-Yun Kang and Grace Park.
Ohyama, Fujii, Kim and Kang all made improvements -- with Kim and Kang both moving up three places -- while Webb and Park both slipped two spots.
