With Win Perry Rises in Rankings


Kenny Perry won the Memorial for the third time on Sunday and jumped 46 places to 27th in the latest world rankings.
World No. 1 Tiger Woods was again followed by Phil Mickelson. Adam Scott moved up to third, knocking Ernie Els down to fourth with Geoff Ogilvy remaining fifth.
Justin Rose shared second behind Perry and jumped five spots to No. 6 this week. Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk, K.J. Choi, Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia all dropped one spot, ranking sixth to 11th.
Stewart Cink and Henrik Stenson were up one each to 12th and 13th, while Padraig Harrington dipped two to 14th.
Rory Sabbatini, Trevor Immelman, Luke Donald, Aaron Baddeley, Anthony Kim and Lee Westwood rounded out the top 20 again this week.
