The best-ball match will take place at The Bridges and the teams will play for a $1.7 million purse. The winning team splits $1.2 million while the losing side shares $500,000.
Woods has participated in all six previous Battles at The Bridges and Mickelson will play for the third consecutive year. Daly teamed with Mickelson in a losing effort against Woods and Hank Kuehne last year and Goosen, the two-time U.S. Open champion, is teeing it up for the first time.
'Not only will golf fans appreciate a grouping of stars on a stage like this, but sports fans in general will undoubtedly recognize how much talent and charisma are present in these four players,' said Alastair Johnston, vice chairman of IMG.
ESPN2 will broadcast the made-for-television event for the first hour before ABC takes over in primetime.
