Thundering Waters Golf Club in Canada

Thundering Waters Golf Club brings the John Daly name to the expanding Niagara Falls vacation region. This is Daly's first signature design in Canada (though Bo Danoff did a lot of the day-to-day work) and one of his only designs anywhere. Daly certainly doesn't take it easy on hackers - throwing plenty of hills, doglegs, fescue and greens tucked away behind creeks at your vacation plans. The slope rating comes in at a monster 149 from the back tees.

There are a few great drivable par 4s (No. 7 & 11) between all the pain. This is one of the newest courses in Niagara Falls and the closest to the Falls casinos area (a five-minute drive). You cannot see the actual Falls from the course, though. Instead, you play through woods without any houses around to distract you and plenty of drama to focus on.
