BRODDICK, Scotland – The Scots know their whiskey, golf and apparently their ferries.
The drive from Glasgow to Machrihanish was a delight but the CalMac ferry was spectacular and scenic... and time efficient.
First impressions of Arran are good. We're sitting on the lawn of a cafe in Broddick having a couple treats and this area is hopping.
I think they'd call it irony that we had to take a ferry to a remote island to find the most civilization we've seen in three days.
