Off to a rough start

Philadelphia – Rex Hoggard and I are still going to Holywood ... eventually.

We've been diverted to Philadelphia – sitting on the tarmac now – because inclement weather is not allowing flights to land at Newark.

Our original flight is scheduled to leave Newark, N.J., in two hours and head to Dublin, Ireland, but that will be delayed, too. From there the plan was to drive two hours north to play Royal County Down, widely hailed as one of the best courses on the planet. That tee time is in 12 hours from right now and it's our only chance to play the beauty on this trip.

On the other hand it could be worse. When dealing with several disgruntled passengers on this flight the flight attendant let it be known that she's been working since 5 a.m. That tactic always makes people feel better, right?
