PGA National has deal worth considering

When it comes to resorts steeped in championship tradition, not many in America have a more impressive résumé than PGA National Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach, Fla. It’s the current host of the PGA Tour Honda Classic and former host of two PGA Championships and a Ryder Cup. All told, PGA National has hosted more professional golf tournaments than any resort in the country.

Until October 15, they’re offering one of the best deals you’ll find anywhere.

For a meager $139 per night (two-night minimum), here’s what you’ll receive:
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Unlimited golf for two, including range balls and a David Leadbetter Golf Academy clinic
  • Two-for-one cocktails at the “sexy, savvy & sophisticated” iBar
  • Breakfast for two
  • Complimentary access to “The Waters of the World” – a collection of healing mineral pools with salts imported from around the world
If you’re itching to play the Champion Course (the highest-demand course at the resort), you’ll have to pony up an extra $50, but since you’re getting such a good deal anyways, it’s well worth it.

All told, it’s an incredible PGA Tour-caliber vacation for less than $500. And if you say, “Been there, done that,” don’t forget that the resort has recently undergone a $65 million renovation.
