ATLANTA ' For the first time since Sunday at the U.S. Open, Phil Mickelsons name has found its way atop a PGA Tour leaderboard. With back-to-back birdies to close his opening nine, Lefty moved to 8 under for the event, two shots clear of a sputtering Kenny Perry and three ahead of Tiger Woods.

Its a good news, bad news deal for the Tour, however. They have the games biggest names going toe-to-toe, but without a push from Sean OHair or Steve Stricker the FedEx Cup will basically be a push with the $10 million bonus going to Woods.
