Watch Morning Drive on Golf Channel.way for me it came full circle when I stepped onto the golf course and sort of saw a concrete Beautiful piece of land made for this event and here I am hitting the first tee shot it was quite an honor. Reactions to seeing and playing that golf course . So we had very limited time while we were there. So the first day we got there on Monday and we were allowed to walk the course and not play it. Which, It was such a great experience for me. I don't really do that often, just to walk a course without the clubs. It allowed me to really pay attention to the landscape, it allowed me to pay attention to the hole and try to think in Gill's shoes. What is it trying to get me to do here? It was a great opportunity for me to get to learn the golf course a little bit and to really take it all in without worrying about my shots and where they're going, and where nothe doesn't mind me saying this, but I feel like there's an emotional attachment of him and this particular course. He's done beautiful golf courses world round, all over the place. But, I feel like there's an emotional connection to this place for him. As you know, he moved down there for a period of time to build the course with his family. Coming from Philadelphia to Rio is not the simplest thing to do. He did that. He worked through some really hard times getting the golf course together and now that it's ready and he was welcoming all of us there. I felt like there was maybe a slight bit of apprehension to see what we were going to say. But at the same time I could see in his eyes the pride. I think he's very proud and so are we. Yeah. Do you get the sense from the other players and the other people involved, as I quite imagine there was quite an entourage of people moving through the golf course . Mm-hm. That everybody feels that this is ready to go? Everybody intended it to be. Absolutely, the golf course is ready, the golf course is foreseen perfect. Hard to imagine, given all that you're saying. Hard to imagine. given all that happened, the golf course is perfect now.
