Latest buzz: New advances in golf ball technology
George Savaricas checks out the new NXT balls from Titleist, Charlie Rymer looks into Callaway's new Speed Regime balls and Matt Ginella has the scoop on the new BB30 series balls from Bridgestone Golf. From 2014 PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.V1 and Pro V1x, we see a lot of guys in the PGA Tour using that ball. I wanna know for the amateur, how did they decide which model is best to suit them. -Well, we feel that and we have data to support this that the Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls are gonna help golfers of all skill levels, all swing speeds, all the golfers shoot a lower score. But golfers have preferences and, sometimes, they're looking for things like a softer feel, a more durable construction or maybe a yellow color . And we use our performance models, NXT Tour, NXT Tour S and Velocity and even DT Solo to provide golfers with some of those preference options. They're more durable golf balls than you might find in Pro V1 or Pro V1x and we can also sell them at a little more appealing price.
