It was pretty exciting early when 47-year old Jose Maria Olazabal made a run. He birdied for the first ten holes and got himself a share in the lead. But how he would bogey for the final eight, finishing the tie for 5th. Meantime, overnight later Joost Luiten just could not play in the tough windy conditions. He made three bogeys early, didn't make a birdie 'til the final hole. He shots 74. Meantime, Paul Casey was absolutely brilliant after opening the [unk] 7 consecutive pars that led to his first birdie on the par 5-8th, then on 9th. He turns in 2 under 34. How about, 10th? Three in a row for Paul Casey and he is tied for the lead at that point. And the very next hole with the rain pouring down, Casey makesbeen a while. Bahrain was the last time I won on the European Tour , and when I putt Wednesday, I mean half of it was relief, half of it was satisfaction playing a great round of golf today.
