Michelle Wie off to a great start to the season on the LPGA Tour a 12th place finish in Phoenix. Now is off to the Kia Classic in Carlsbad , California Tom Abbott speaked with Wie. [MUSIC] Thanks very much. Michelle as you look back at the start of this year, you've had four top 15 finishes, including a top five. How would you assess the beginning of the year. It's going well. I'm just having a lot of fun. I've been to a lot of cool spots, played in Bahamas for the first time this year, which is awesome. And really enjoyed myself in Asia. And I had a good, good stretch going there in Phoenix. So I'm just excited to be here this week in San Diego. And hopefully I can keep it going. Seems like this golf course is [INAUDIBLE] big contrast from last week. [LAUGH] Oh, yeah. It was firm and fast last week here. Uh-huh. The rough is thick. Uh-huh. It's, it's gonna be a different game plan. How difficult is it gonna be out here? You know it's, it's completely different from last week. You know I just threw in the ball so far last week and kinda here, you get here it's a little bit cold, it's a little misty this morning. I like hit a shot, I was like it's just not going as far. [LAUGH] But it's a great golf course I mean the conditions are awesome this week. So I think it's gonna be a challenge for sure. But I'm excited. Does it suit you being along Heather? Yeah I don't really hit a lot of drivers in this golf course . But you know, I think you just have to good eye and play. The greens are really you know, really sloppy. So
