Watch Morning Drive 7AM ET.played Friar's Head. I haven't played Lost Farm, and I haven't played Sand Hills yet, so there's a couple big holes in my glove. Sand Hills , you and me, brother, let's change it! Let's go, let's go. That's gonna happen sooner than later for me Yes. Old Sandwich. But, I love Red and love Trails, right? Let's get to the next one. Next question for Matt. Next year, Pinehurst, Kiawah or Sea Island ? Wife going for spa! So this has got to make momma happy. Well, daddy's going to be happy no matter where he goes here. Well, and that's the good, that's the great part of this is, is the wife is going to be happy, also. You could go to any one of those. Three of the great golf hotels in America. And they're great because they have the kind of amenities that are, that are, that work for almost everyone. So, she's going to happy. So then it comes down to quality of golf at three, these three resorts, Pinehurst, Kiowa, or Sea Island . I go Pinehurst first. Good quality golf. Eight courses to choose from. Then I go Sea Island , and I put Kiowa third on that list. But again, you're not gonna go wrong. No, you're not. Just seeing the images of number two. Oh! That was our last year's trip, this year, Sand Hills . Exactly. All right, let's get to another question here, as we approach the bottom of the hour here on Morning Drive, from
Ultimate Match Play Venues: The top 16 seeds
Matt Ginella starts the ultimate Match Play Venues brackets. Watch Morning Drive everyday 7AM ET.players this week at the Accenture Match Play Championship. You're talking about golf courses . You're very consistent. How did you come up with the idea of ranking the best Match Play venues? -Well, we know theplays out through the week. But look at this list of great golf courses . Again, TPC Sawgrass. Look at that. A lot of risk/reward throughout the round and that fantastic finish. Pete Dye likes to have a par-3, a par-4, and a par-5-- somewhere in the mix of those last three holes. So, lot of good Pete Dye courses on this list. -I've played a lot of these courses. I've never played question mark, question mark, question mark. Number 16.
Morning Drive: Ultimate Match Play Courses bracket
Matt Ginella talks about the matchups in the Ultimate Match Play Courses bracket. Watch Morning Drive every day at 7AM ET.of all, Augusta National is moving on. -Hard to argue. Augusta National. Bobby Jones , Alister MacKenzie, they did all right. -That back nine. Think about Mickelson versus Els in 2004, Tiger and DiMarco in 2005, and this was a tough one. Now, Oakmont moves on here. Pebble Beach, now look, 17, 18 are great finishing holes. That front nine is good, but think about 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, it kind of gets lost there in the middle of the round back nine. And that's where-- that's where the determining factor is. -You made a lot of Pittsburghers and Angel Cabrera very happy. -Oakmont is just a great, great venue. -All right. Royal County Down versus Cypress Point. Cypress Point is the host of one of the greatest matches of all time, 1956. Harvie Ward and Ken Venturi take on Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan. Cypress is moving on. -Nice. -Kiawah versus PGA West, two Pete Dye designs, two, are gonna beat you up. And the Chris DiMarco's point yesterday, sometimes you can win with the 78. That's probably what's gonna happen here. Kiawah, one of the all-time great match

And right now, Augusta National , 60 percent of the votes, to the Old Course is 40 percent of the vote, roughly speaking. Now, I would argue-- and this is also part of what's weighed my decision talking to Chris DiMarco and John Cook, going back and really dissecting Augusta National and the Old Course. Augusta National , they said, back in 2000-- built by Alister MacKenzie, and we know about his philosophy hole by hole and as it relates
Ultimate Match Play Venues: Down to final two
Matt Ginella talks about the matchups in the Ultimate Match Play Courses bracket. Watch Morning Drive every day at 7AM ET.own. So, I've had some fun mixing it up here. And again, Augusta National versus Oakmont. Let's decide a winner right now. For me, you know, Oakmont, great hole after great hole. But there's nothing better than the back nine at Augusta National Think of 2004 Ernie Els or Phil Mickelson That was electric back there. Every Masters generally tends to be some form of a match play when it gets down to
