Lyle: Relapse different than first fight with cancer

So, most of the people who will be diagnosed with acute leukemia 12 years after an original, 11 or 12 years after an original diagnosis will probably have a second malignancy. That is [unk] relapse of his underlying disorder. And there's no way we can actually tell that this wasn't that. In other words he developed a new leukemia although, all the characteristics of this leukemia were identical to those that he had when he was a child. So, this was a very light relapse. And tells us something about how long the leukemia cells can survive hidden away and then just [unk] for no good reason to pop out.

Currently, there were about 14.7 million people around the world who had volunteered to donate for Jarrod. None of those was a match for him. So our third-line option here is to use cord blood to raise stem cells that had been donated in the course of delivering newborn babies around the world. -Oh, I didn't know anything about cord blood or anything like that. I knew a little bit about because we saved Lusi's cord blood , thinking that might be able to help me. But hers wouldn't work it was only 50 percent me.
