I said, what golfer doesn't want to get to the 18th green. From the 18th green to the 19th hole little faster like can you give me, tips on getter quicker. Stealing bases and, we had a little race. We a little stealing, base race and I lost. Yeah, we saw that, and it- -I'm at the Heritage Club actually. One of my my favorite in Myrtle Beach , Myrtle Beach has a close to a hundred golf courses , and you know, stretching 60 miles. Good morning- Morning. Happy belated birthday to you by the way- Thank you. So sorry we- So much. Can't be there with you, but we are in our home stomping grounds. This is really fun stuff for Charlie and I. The last two years now, we've been coming to the Grand Strand. Charlie grew up in Fort Mill South Carolina, I grew up about 30 miles north of here in north Myrtle Beach , and this is a home game for us. But we're here to support a fantastic cause. The First Tee of Grand Strand, and the First Tee of Brunswick County. That are growing as we speak. Yeah, it's so much fun to be here and support these great programs here in the, golf capital of the world. You know, Myrtle Beach is known for two things. Golf capital of the world and, home of Kelly Tilghman. Maybe not in that order I don't think. Not necessarily in that order. But, Kelly we've got tremendous vineyard. I mean, this Caledonia is spectacular. I mean, folks, check out this 18th hole right here bes, behind us. Thi, this golf course is celebrating its 20th anniversary. And I'm gonna tell you what. It has the best entrance in golf. When you drive down that road into Caledonia, and that includes an entrance to a little golf course up in Augusta, Georgia, that is the most beautiful entrance to golf. You gotta put this on your bucket list. Great facility. And we're very grateful that for two years in a row now they've let us come here and raise money for the First Tee here in the Myrtle Beach area. It's a year-round paradise attracting golf enthusiasts from around the world. I'm going to take a journey down the coast of South Carolina to discover all that this wonderful state has to offer. I begin my journey on the north coast of South Carolina. In the Golden Mecca that is Myrtle Beach . Located on the north of South Carolina's coastline, Myrtle Beach boasts a 60-mile stretch of white, sandy beaches. Home to an array of attractions and a vibrant night life. You will also find more than a hundred championship golf courses nestled amongst the myrtle trees where over 3.5 million rounds of golf are played annually. The first golf club I'm visiting is the BareFoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach , home to four golf courses designed by the likes of Pete Dye and Greg Norman . Rich, thanks for having us heare at Barefoot. Thanks for coming. This is- Good to have you. Thank you. Just try to explain to me a bit about what this region offers for someone that really has never been here before. Myrtle Beach is unique in the fact that 60 miles of coastline from from end to end of the the Grand Strands. Right now we're just about at 100 gold courses here. Per capital, we have the most golf courses in, in an area. That's what unique in respect that we're a 72 hole facility. We have four golf courses here designed by Greg Norman , Davis Love , Tom Fasio, and Pete Dye, Everything's all inclusive, so once you're here, you don't have to travel very far, if at all to get what you need. So these resorts are all very impressive and all very self-contained. We wouldn't necessarily have to leave the resort we're staying in on a weeks holiday. But if I did leave the resort at Myrtle Beach , what would I find? Out of the resort, huh, you could find a multitude of things. You got the beach, which is very accessible, less then a mile from here, some great views; especially down at, In Merle's In Light area. Very nice, quaint fishing town. So there's plenty of things to keep you occupied. So if someone hadn't been to Myrtle Beach before what would you say to lure them here? If you love golf, love the beach, this is your place to come to. The Dunes Club is one of the most exclusive golf courses in the area.
