Fantasy: Schniederjans a Barracuda sleeper?
Nick Menta joins Lauren McDonald to choose a ‘Winner, Contender and Sleeper’ for the 2015 Barracuda Championship. Play alongside our experts by logging onto www.golfchannel.com/fantasyon 22.5% of his holes which is the top 30 on the PGA tour . Given the format and given his recent form that he's a guy I like this week to potentially contend and win. Andeagles, makes some birdies. He's played his last three events on the PGA tour thirty under par in the top 25 in equal frequency and just hovering around the top 30 in terms of breaking par on his individual holes. So for a lot of the same reasons we picked Will Cox so let's go with. number two. I'll buy that but I was a little bit surprised you didn't go with Retief Goosen , he had a T25 finish last year, it was his first appearance, then he had that T20 finish at the Open Championship. They don't like Steve Wilcox Reteif Goosen might be a way. Then he's the other guy to pick. Okay, okay, so we also need to do a sleeper pick. So who do you like this week? I don't think there's a better value pick in the history of Fantasy Golf, potentially, than Ollie Schniederjans this week. He's playing just his 3rd professional event on the PGA TOUR , in his last two he's got two top 25s. He's jumped up 400 spots in the Official World Golf Ranking in less than a month. And in his last start as an amateur at the British open, a tie for 12th. So this is a guy you'll, probably, never find in an off week event in group three or four again, ugh this is a kid destined for stardom and big things. So, this is the value pick this week. So off to a fast start at the after his pro debut at the Canadian open. It pays to be young.. On the PGA Tour . Alright so, don't fantasy picks, you can do that by logging onto golfchannel.com/fantasy, remember, you can tweet all of our fantasy experts directly from the golf channel homepage, just remember use the hashtag #askfantasygolf.
