Where do we start? -Well, we're gonna start with activation. I think instead of just going in and just getting strong and trying to get bigger muscles to hit the ball further, we have to enhance all the movement necessary to achieve your best golf. So, we're gonna start with this. We're gonna start with the counterbalance squat. Now, a lot of the golf swing is really rooted in stability, being able to maintain your connection to the ground; because people wanna generate power, but it's not just the power that you generate but the power that you maintain, as well. So, to help do that, we're gonna start with the counterbalance squat. So, you're gonna stand as if you have your feet about driver width, okay. I just happen to have a driver in my hand. And you can squat down so your body gets to a position where your hips are just even with knee level-- -Uh-huh. -your heels are engaged in the ground, you're in a balanced position , and then you come back up to the top. That's gonna help engage the hamstrings, the hips, and the glutes to help you stay connected in your golf swing . So, give that a shot. -So, this is one of the exercises you can do maybe before going to the range orlook at how do I achieve a single leg stability? We're actually gonna get ourselves to an impact position . These are called impact holds. So you'll watch Tim get to his left. He holds his position and he brings it back. Step hard, hold. Good, two more. Step. Hold. I want you to hold til the last one Tim. Hold this. Three, two, one and back. Good. Tell him how you feel when you hold this impact position against resistance. I'm feeling it all the way down my left side through the hip and then especially with the the pressure I'm creating with the right hand as well, so. Exactly, so he's getting hard to his left side, he's generating power, and he's holding with stability. Now finally, we're gonna make this move really dynamic. We call these slap shots , okay. So what I want Tim to do is I want him to start on his right side, really attack as if he's a hockey player , really attack. Hockey players do a great job of getting to an impact position , and it's the same with Tim. So here, check it out. Bang. Good. Attack. More left. Five. Come on, four more. Four, get back. Three, two, and one. Good. So, if you noticed Tim, what we did was, we went from a static position to a little more dynamic, and then we spent a lot of speed and energy in that last motion. How'd that feel? It felt good. I just moving fast to get faster, right? That's what it's about. Wayne Gretzky slapshots. So, he calls them the Wayne Gretzky , but our goal is to create speed to enhance performance. That's how we enhance our golfleticism, we use TRX and we get
