Steve Elkington has waited in the controversy again and Twitter was the vehicle yesterday. "ESPN covering Michael Sam as a gay athlete is embarrassing." He deleted that tweet. ESPN reporting Michael Sam-- Michael Sam, of course, a linebacker now and gonna be in the NFL has leading the handbag throw at NFL combine. No one else expected to throw today and finally goes back "to a ball hit an oriental spectator. There is no oriental spectator, they are just spectators like M. Sam. He's just an athlete. So Steve Elkington never afraid to voice his opinion but the PGA Tour has a statement as well, "Under our regulations, conduct unbecoming a professional includes public commentary that is clearly inappropriate or offensive. With respect to this matter and consistent with our longstanding policy , we do not comment on our player disciplinary matters." Folks, this is a very interesting story. Michael Sam, of course came outgreat stories going on, Florida Swing is starting and we're talking about Steve Elkington's tweets. That is utterly ridiculous. -Why do all this-- the Tour has to take a look at this. This is a continuing a behavior of hurtful comments from a golfer. And Steve Elkington has to look at himself and decide, does he wanna be known as the 1995 PGA Champion or for his tweets?
