Watch Morning Drive every day on Golf Channel.here and just have them kind of tilt and feel like. Their upper bodies looking more back here and it really helps them make a full turn and hit it out to the right. So we're gonna overcome the forward ball position and then from there, we're gonna swing it out to the right. And I think what you'll find is the golf ball will start a little bit more right center. You'll see the ball turn over a little bit more and that's a good way to hit more fairways. I'm curious what's a good visual cue cause sometimes your feet can be deceiving and I feel like that's a lot of things that people I play with struggle as far as ball position. So where. Within your body, do you want to kinda align yourself and have the proper ball position with the driver? Yeah, the key here is you want to catch the driver at the low point. And the, and the true low point of the arc is really, the left shoulder . It's really not the left heel. It's more about the left shoulder . Although, the foot can kind of help you represent that. So, again, if you put your feet together, flared it out. You can see how that ball position's kinda up here. Towards that left shoulder . If you played it too far back, now you're gonna catch it too soon before the low point. And, and some guys

You, you obviously were one of the straightest driver of the golf ball that I knew when I was covering you regularly on tour. Is this what you do? You know, yeah, to, to a point I think that one of the things that you're saying for the, for the amateurs at home that come down too far, creates that slice. Mm-hm. That they normally see, right? when you think, if you're coming in kinda steep you're gonna create that left to right shape It does, tends to, yep And if you're kinda hanging back and hitting it up, its gonna draw a little bit. For me I, I, I always, a little, maybe one degree down, is what I am. So I, I like to see the ball drop a little to the right. That's just, for me, the way it is. And with that, normally takes the left side of the golf, out of the golf course , out of my view. Mm-hm. So I can aim up the left side, go as hard as I want, and then the ball's gonna cut back to the fairway. If my misses go right, I can live with that. So that's what made me a good driver of the golf ball : eliminating one side of the golf course . We've heard a lot from Travis on how to hit it straighter. Had to find more fair ways so if you could
